Hi.

Welcome! You've come to the right place for the best information for your health and nutrition.

One bad MTHFR

I’ve been getting a lot of feedback and questions since I started sharing about Aston’s Allergies and MTHFR. Who knew that SO many people are dealing with this and that the MTHFR gene mutation is very common?! I certainly didn’t. But, guess what! About 30% of people have it, and it’s passed down from one or both parents. We know that our son Aston has it, and are waiting on test results from Adler’s test. Guess who is getting tested next? This Mama. 🙋🏼‍♀️

.

So, ya wanna hear some fun facts about it? Let’s roll...

👉🏼 It impacts how well your body metabolizes folate and folic acid ...

👉🏼 It makes it extremely difficult for your body to get rid of toxins...

👉🏼 Higher risk for cardiovascular issues, heart disease, autoimmune and digestive problems, migraines, ADHD, Autism, Alzheimer’s, fertility issues/miscarriage, and

nxiety to name a few. Good times, eh?...

.

Our bodies are already constantly battling the toxic load from our environment, so this doesn’t help our cause. What can we do about it?🤷🏼‍♀️

.

👍🏼 Focus on gut health and take daily probiotics...

👍🏼 Consume natural folate (not folic acid), Vitamin B6 and B12, Omega 3’s, CoQ10, Vitamins C, D, and E..

👍🏼 Eat Clean: Beans/Lentils, Leafy Greens, Broccoli, Avocado, Colorful Fruits , Raw/Fermented foods, bone broth, wild caught fish, flax/chia seeds, nuts, coconut oil, and grass fed meat if you’re a meat eater...

👍🏼 Avoid Gluten, Sugar, Dairy, Vegetable Oils...

👍🏼Use safer personal care products including shampoo, body lotion, skincare, and sunscreen. .

That should give you a good start. Stay tuned for more about how we’re detoxifying naturally to battle this bad MTHFR!💪🏼

Jeana
