Hi.

Welcome! You've come to the right place for the best information for your health and nutrition.

It’s time to get lit!

Do you consider yourself to be inclusive of different backgrounds, races, religions?✨

.

I grew up in a family that celebrated Christmas.🎄I didn’t really know much about other religions and most of the kids at my school were white, so there wasn’t much exposure to anything or anyone different, aside from my Spanish speaking Cuban grandparents.🇨🇺

.

Today, this Irish, English, Dutch, half Cuban girl is married to an amazing Jewish man, my Cuban father is married to a Chinese woman and my sister’s partner is African American. Our family dinners are quite colorful!🌈

.

One of the things I love about having a blended family is that our boys are not only just exposed to all different kinds of people, but see the love we share. In the current political climate, that is not often the case...in my opinion anyway. I want our boys to grow up being accepting and inclusive of everyone, regardless of the color of their skin, their place of worship, sexual identity, age, physical abilities, or economic status. I want them to treat everyone with kindness.❤️

.

So, as we light the candles on the last night of Hanukkah, I am grateful for all of the bright lights and colors in my life.🕎

.

Tag someone you’re grateful for that is different from you, and let’s light it up!✨
